Why we make it

Not every toy of ours is for a party. This one is for the quiet minutes before bed, when something small feels very big. Our blue and orange Worry Monster stands 9 inches tall and has a mouth that zips shut on whatever is fed to it.

The routine is simple. Your child writes the worry on a scrap of paper, pops it into the monster's mouth and zips it away. The trouble is the monster's now. We think of it as a gentle tool for easing anxious feelings, and lighter shoulders lift the whole evening.

Cute and helpful!
Super cute! I am a school social worker in an elementary school, and using this worry monster is a great way for kids to share when they don't feel like talking and to feel better about their worries! I tell them the worry monster might not be able to fix the problem right away but it will try it's best to make it better!

Helps my kid with her worries
Very adorable. Helps my kid with her worries and gives action to them since we are writing them down and practicing doing what we can control and letting go of the rest
